The famous American science fiction writer Michael Coney, a quarter of a century later, turned to his favorite brainchild - the novel “Hello, Summer... and Goodbye” (regular readers of “If” could get acquainted with it in issue No. 2 of 1995). The action of the new novel takes place in that same planet many, many generations later, so that the main characters of “Summer...” - Drove and Brown Eyes - managed to become heroes of legends for posterity. The new novel is published from the author’s manuscript, so the domestic reader will read it at the same time as the American one.
