As you know, the animal runs towards the catcher - so the corpse very opportunely turned up on Mrs. Joanna’s path. She literally tripped over him while visiting a luxury hotel. But the writer did not rejoice for long, because the corpse turned out to be too unusual - with a vile character and vile temper. Not only did Mrs. Ioanna and her friend come under suspicion from the very first minute, but the corpse stubbornly refused to obey the script laws, gloatingly throwing out trick after trick. And the ladies had to start investigating - in order to put the presumptuous corpse in its place, put Martha’s insolent lover under siege, and at the same time expose the killer. “The Difficult Corpse” is a detective story in the best traditions of Joanna Khmelevskaya, reminiscent of the early books of the writer that made her famous.
