Sailing Beyond the Sunset is Robert Heinlein's latest novel, in which he ties together his numerous science fiction works. The Universe created by the author is not a linear world, but a bundle of interconnected parallels of time, each of which takes its place in the “History of the Future” that Heinlein created throughout his life. At the same time, this is a novel about human life in a fantasy world, and this is not children's reading. The book is provided with commentaries, and numerous heroes of the novel are listed in the appendix, and other novels in which the same characters act are indicated there.
