Jim Dodge (b. 1945) is an American poet and novelist, author of the story “Kaksha” (1983) and two novels “Keep Up the Speed. Keep the Lights On (1987) and Trickster, Hermes, Joker (1990). All of Dodge's prose was published in Russian by Livebook. The collection "Rain on the River" is Jim Dodge's last book, published in 2012. Jim Dodge worked as an apple picker, carpet layer, school teacher, professional gambler, shepherd, lumberjack, forester .
