Placed in the section "People of My City" (בני עירי), the story "The Eyes of Leah" (עיני לאה) is included in Agnon's collection of short stories "Fire and Trees" ("הָאֵשׁ וְהָעֵצִים"), published in 1962. The second story - "The Carpenter and the Turkey" in the original is called - "הנגר והתרנגול" .
