Книга "Сходження цариці" - це неймовірна подорож у світ Клеопатри, яка захоплює з перших рядків. Авторка, Маргарет Джордж, майстерно відтворює атмосферу елліністичного Єгипту, занурюючи читача в життя однієї з найвідоміших жінок в історії. Спогади Клеопатри, розказані від її особи, дозволяють нам відчути її переживання, страхи та амбіції. Яскраво описані сцени з її дитинства, втрати матері та інтриг в родині роблять цю історію ще більш емоційною та близькою. Вражає, як авторка вдало поєднує історичні факти з художнім вимислом, створюючи живий образ цариці, яка була не лише красунею, але й мудрою правителькою. Незважаючи на деякі недоліки в перекладі, які, на жаль, іноді трапляються, загальний зміст і емоційна насиченість книги компенсують ці недоліки.
