The script is only a retelling of the film, which so far only one person has seen: the screenwriter. The retelling is extremely intelligible, detailed, clear and simple: sufficient. Stylistic refinements here are stupid and inappropriate: this is visual art, not verbal. Well, it seems like Moishe relayed Caruso’s aria over the phone, so the screenwriter simply retells what he saw. This is cinema in words. And cinema is a spectacle, and this is a movie.
