The path of battles, magical discoveries and self-knowledge for Aliedora and Thorn continues. The World of the Seven Beasts is on the verge of destruction. Its inhabitants have less and less time and less chance to fight back the forces of evil. However, instead of uniting against a common enemy, the Power of Nausinai continues a senseless war with Necropolis. Amid this chaos, Thorn and Aliedora go their own way. Following the Prophecy, confident that it is the dhuss and the Hound that are the messengers and the focus of Evil, they are captured by the envoys of the Wise Smaragd. But the ship carrying the prisoners falls into a trap set by the magicians of Navsinai, who have their own account and interest in the mysterious couple.
