Continuing the theme of defending the honor of the outstanding Russian scientist T.D. Lysenko, the author wondered what classical or formal genetics is studying now, and found out that at present the scope of its application has been reduced to a vanishingly small value. It degenerated into something similar to the caloric or phlogiston hypothesis. In essence, formal genetics was secretly, quietly and imperceptibly replaced by cellular and molecular biology. The author proves that now classical genetics no longer exists as a science. But this is not a book about Mendel, Lysenko or Vavilov.
