S. S. Mironin’s book “Holodomor in Rus'” is a continuation and addition to his popular book about Stalin (“Stalin’s Order”). In the work presented to the attention of readers, the popular anti-Stalinist myth of the “Holodomor” will be subjected to a more detailed critical analysis. The author convincingly proves that Stalin did not want to starve anyone; the true cause of the famine was the chaos of the NEP, another geopolitical impasse in Russia and urgent measures to overcome it.
