He suggested that the scientist create an intelligent electronic system, an artificial intelligence capable of carrying out virtual trading on stock exchanges. Hoffman set to work with enthusiasm - and achieved absolute success. The unique VIXAL system brought unprecedented profits to its creators by controlling the behavior of players in the market. Alexander even created a new stock index, calling it the “fear index.” And then strange things began to happen to Hoffman that he could not explain.
