For a year now, the Roman legions under the command of Aulus Plautus have been fighting in Britain. The order of Emperor Claudius is clear: to capture the leader of the Britons, Caratacus. The Romans prepared a cunning trap for him. However, Caratacus turned out to be even more cunning. But the Roman legionnaire will never back down - not before anyone or anything...

Особливо вражає, як автор показує, що навіть у найскладніших умовах, коли здається, що немає виходу, справжня мужність та відвага можуть змінити хід історії. Незважаючи на деякі недоліки в перекладі, які не зменшують загального враження, ця книга безумовно варта уваги всіх, хто любить історичні романи та епічні пригоди!
