The wanderer, faced with an ancient prophetic text about the coming of the Enemy, felt something similar to the wind. He is trying to understand the purpose of the Wind. He hears a voice ordering him to go to the City. The wanderer realizes that he must fulfill a special mission. He needs people with unusual abilities, and he finds the Soldier, a person with a special instinct for recognizing danger, and the Seer, a telepath and hypnotist. However, the Seer believes that the Traveler poses a threat to the inhabitants of the City and decides to stop him.
