In the twelfth volume of the Collected Works of Dostoevsky, the “Diary of a Writer” for 1873 is published, as well as his articles, essays and feuilletons published in the newspaper-magazine “Citizen” (1873–1874, 1878) and the literary collection “Skladchina” ( 1874). The “Appendix” contains “Explanations and Testimony of F. M. Dostoevsky in the Petrashevsky Case,” which are of great biographical interest and have some overlap with the articles “A Writer’s Diary.”
The text of the book was translated from the original language using an artificial intelligence program. Хоча переклад тексту здійснено за допомогою штучного інтелекту, що іноді призводить до незначних неточностей, загальна якість перекладу залишається на високому рівні. Ця книга не лише розширює наше розуміння творчості Достоєвського, але й дозволяє зануритися у його світ, сповнений філософських запитань і глибоких переживань.
