This volume contains the story “The Eternal Husband” (1870), one of the masterpieces of the writer’s psychological art, and the novel “The Teenager” (1875), the second (after “Demons”) of Dostoevsky’s novels, work on which began as the implementation of his idea for the novel cycle “Atheism” (later called “The Life of the Great Sinner”), which arose in him in the late 60s, including a chapter that was not included in the text of the novel. Illustrations by M. Reuther and K. Lorrain.
The text of the book was translated from the original language using an artificial intelligence program. For the most part, the translation of the text is of very high quality, but in some cases, due to the imperfection of the technology, there may be incorrect phrase translations in the text, as well as single words and expressions may not be translated.

Книга "Том 8. Вічний чоловік. Підліток" є справжнім шедевром, що демонструє глибину думок і емоцій, характерних для творчості Федора Достоєвського. Оповідання "Вічний чоловік" вражає своєю психологічною напругою та здатністю порушувати складні питання людської природи, в той час як роман "Підліток" розкриває складність підліткового віку, пошуки ідентичності та моральні дилеми. Достоєвський майстерно передає внутрішні переживання своїх персонажів, змушуючи читача замислитися над власними цінностями та переконаннями. Хоча переклад тексту здійснено за допомогою штучного інтелекту, що іноді призводить до незначних недоліків, загальна якість перекладу залишається високою, а зміст книги компенсує ці дрібні недоліки. Рекомендую цю книгу всім, хто цінує глибоку літературу та бажає зануритися в психологічні аспекти людського існування.
