The Main Directorate for Combating Illicit Drug Trafficking is agitated. The last major operation against drug traffickers failed miserably, and the deputy head of the department, Major Vershinin, is suspected of leaking information. This case is being investigated by a secret department officer, Major Suvorovtsev. He finds out that the suspect actually has connections with drug dealers. But it also becomes clear that Vershinin hates drug dealers with a fierce hatred. And although the major was removed from business, Suvorovtsev offers him cooperation.
