The matured Orestes returns to his homeland, finds his sister and asks for help in punishing his traitorous mother. Other works of Euripides that have survived to this day are “Iphigenia in Tauris”, “Helen”, “Phoenicians”, “Ion”, “Orestes”, “Bacchae”, “Iphigenia in Aulis”, “Cyclops”. The authority of Euripides in world literature is undeniable. His tragedies were imitated hundreds of years later by many famous playwrights. His immortal works have been translated into different languages of the world.
