Книга "1972. Батьківщина" Михайла Карпова вражає своєю актуальністю та глибиною думок. Автор майстерно зображує життя письменника, який, здавалося б, досяг успіху та визнання в суспільстві, але в той же час змушений замислитися про справжню ціну цього успіху. Тема любові до Батьківщини розглядається через призму особистих переживань та складних моральних виборів. Читач відчуває, як персонаж бореться з внутрішніми конфліктами, що робить його дуже реалістичним і близьким. Незважаючи на деякі недоліки в перекладі, які, безумовно, можуть відволікати, загальний зміст і емоційна насиченість твору перекривають ці недоліки. Рекомендую цю книгу всім, хто цікавиться філософськими питаннями, пов'язаними з ідентичністю, свободою та відносинами з владою.
