Книга "Американський альбом" стала для мене справжнім відкриттям. Автор майстерно поєднує короткі есе з м'яким гумором та яскравими враженнями, що робить читання не лише приємним, а й пізнавальним. Я відчув, ніби сам мандрую по неосяжній Америці, від столиць штатів до глибинних містечок, від пам'ятників епохи Великої депресії до чудових національних парків. Кожна історія наповнена живими деталями, які викликають усмішку та спонукають до роздумів про культуру та історію цієї країни. Особливо вразили опис польських парадів у Нью-Йорку та музейні прогулянки, які надають глибини і контексту. Хоча переклад тексту має деякі недоліки, загальне враження від книги лишається дуже позитивним. Рекомендую всім, хто цінує якісну літературу та хоче дізнатися більше про Америку через призму особистих історій!
