For almost thirty years (1957-1985) I traveled through the protected mountain taiga regions of Russia. In the memory, in Soloukhin’s language, numerous “tricks” remained in my memory - memories of meetings at crossroads. I have always been worried about the specifics of hiking life - today I accidentally met interesting people on the trail, but tomorrow I have to leave. This is the logic of the path. Some of the most interesting “works” from my point of view, many years later, managed to be formalized in the form of original memoirs. The romance of long roads is reflected in the few prose works included in this collection. Who didn’t write poetry in the young mountains... Here and this collection presents selected poetic works of the author, which are not ashamed to present to the reader’s attention. This publication contains a large number of geographical names and information that will seem superfluous to the urban reader. However, people traveling feel the music of “native” toponymy and do not shy away from knowledge about the protected areas of our country. I allow the rest to skip the “boring” blocks of text and get acquainted only with the collisions of camp life.
