Driven by curiosity, quite excusable for a student at a higher religious school in Jerusalem, Semyon Kogan buys the magical “Book of Halls” in a small bookstore and immediately begins to read, repeating out loud the strange names of angels that sound like spells. But reading magical books is not a safe activity, and excessive curiosity can lead to hell. However, the world under the red sky, where Semyon finds himself, is quite suitable for life, if you don’t lose your composure and show your wits in time.
