Guided by his lucky star, he goes through life, winning hearts, reaching heights and... suffering disaster. And yet, true to himself, he emerges victorious. Well, and then, as in a real fairy tale - and in real life - he marries a princess... Both novels are not only entertaining in plot: their author shines with erudition and, while entertaining the reader, enriches him with a lot of interesting information. At the same time, the novels are easy and pleasant to read, thanks to Locke’s unique style - confidential and at the same time ironic, imbued with purely English humor.
