The novel “The Blue Man,” despite the fantastic premise underlying its plot, is least of all fantastic in the usual sense of the word. It combines satirical sharpness with realistic authenticity.
The hero of the novel, Georgy Antoshin, a Soviet young man, a worker and a part-time student, in an amazing, inexplicable way ends up in Moscow in 1894, spends several months there, full of meetings , thoughts, experiences, and finally returns to Moscow again at the very end of the fifties of the twentieth century.

Роман "Блакитна людина" Л. Лагіна вражає своєю глибиною та сатиричною загостреністю, яка змушує задуматися про соціальні та культурні аспекти життя в різні епохи. Історія Георгія Антошина, молодого робітника та студента, який потрапляє в Москву 1894 року, є не лише фантастичною пригодою, а й глибоким дослідженням людських переживань та цінностей. Автор майстерно поєднує елементи реалістичної прози з фантастичними елементами, що робить сюжет динамічним і захоплюючим. Читач має можливість спостерігати за еволюцією персонажа, його роздумами та переживаннями, що робить його близьким і зрозумілим. Хоча переклад тексту з використанням штучного інтелекту іноді має свої недоліки, загальна якість книги залишається високою, а сюжет настільки захоплюючий, що ці недоліки не заважають насолоджуватися читанням. Рекомендую "Блакитну людину" всім, хто цінує літературу, що спонукає до роздумів і відкриває нові горизонти!
