Книга "Вигнанець" вразила мене своєю інтригуючою сюжетною лінією та глибокими персонажами. Від самого початку читання я відчував, як занурююсь у світ напружених розслідувань, небезпеки та таємниць. Операція із затримання маньяка-вбивці, що перетворюється на справжню гру в кішки-мишки, змушує читача не відриватися від сторінок. Особливо цікавою є постать Джона Беррона, поліцейського, який опинився в бігах, і його боротьба за справедливість. Автор майстерно поєднує елементи трилера та історичної драми, що робить цю книгу справжнім бестселером. Хоча є деякі недоліки в перекладі, це не заважає насолоджуватися захоплюючим сюжетом. Рекомендую всім, хто любить детективи з елементами історії!
