The second volume of the Collected Works of Jorge Luis Borges (1899–1986) includes works from 1942–1969, the heyday of the writer’s work. These are collections of short stories and essays “Fictional Stories”, “Aleph”, “New Investigations”, books of poetry and prose “Creator”, “Other and Previous”, “Praise to the Darkness”, as well as articles and reviews from periodicals.
The text of the book was translated from the original language using an artificial intelligence program. For the most part, the translation of the text is of very high quality, but in some cases, due to the imperfection of the technology, there may be incorrect phrase translations in the text, as well as single words and expressions may not be translated.
