Ilya’s long-term drinking bout ruins everything he previously dreamed of. The desire to correct his mistakes, improve his life and finally make peace with his wife forces Ilya to take extreme measures - to move away from civilization, to the taiga for a seasonal winter hunt, where he can be left alone with himself in order to defeat the disease under called alcoholism. But a meeting with a gigantic man-eating tiger, possessing not only unimaginable strength, but also a mind alien to humanity, draws Ilya into a deadly confrontation between the human mind and the ancient spirit of the forest in the flesh.
