Abstract. Zhenya, a timid, shy, homebody, found himself locked at home, in an ordinary nine-story panel. The door is made of strong steel, there are no keys, there is no tool in the apartment to break it, there is no one to come to the rescue. The water and electricity are turned off, communications no longer work, an apocalypse is happening outside the window, people are going crazy, becoming dangerous and aggressive creatures that hunt people like him. In an attempt to survive, to survive at any cost, without having a weapon, Zhenya uses improvised means using his intelligence and ingenuity creates means for survival. Step by step, by cunning and unprincipled cruelty, winning back his living space, Zhenya does not notice that he is becoming a monster for the monsters around him.
