In response, the king of beasts, taking ham and sandwiches from his briefcase and treating them to the hungry traveler, tells his own, no less amazing stories. Like many famous storytellers, Paul Maar wrote a book for his children - because he did not want to read to them what he found on bookstore shelves. So in 1967, the “tattooed Dog” appeared, and with him - an outstanding children's writer, the future daddy of Subastic, the most popular living children's playwright in Germany, Switzerland and Austria, awarded many awards, as well as the highest award of Germany - the Order of Merit before the Federal Republic of Germany."
