Arseniy Rovinsky was born in 1968 in Kharkov. He studied at the Moscow State Pedagogical Institute and served in the army. Since 1991 in Denmark, lives in Copenhagen. He made his debut in the Russian press in 1997 (Solo magazine). Participated in the online literary competition “Teneta” (1998, special prize from Mikhail Aizenberg), based on a competitive selection, he published his first book of poems, “Collective Images,” in 1999. It was followed by the collections “Extra-dry” (2004), “All at once” (2008, together with L. Schwab and F. Swarovsky), “Winter Olympic Games” (2009), “Pearl Fishers” (2013), publications in the almanac “Babylon”, the magazine “Air”, the anthologies “Nine Dimensions” and “Ulysses Unbound”. Short list for the Andrei Bely Prize (2005).
