The thirst for knowledge, the thirst for adventure cost two friends too much - first the creepy Gothic castle of Turven with its mysteries and secrets, then the abysses of one of the lakes, hiding fear and horror... This story was born in my head after a careful, thoughtful reading of more than two dozen stories written by Lovecraft. I tried to write like him and think like him (more precisely, like the main characters who tell his stories). That rare case when I knew exactly what I would write and how I would complete it; written in one breath.
