The small trilogy of Archpriest Sergius Bulgakov includes three parts: “The Burning Bush” (1927), “The Groom’s Friend” (1928), “Jacob’s Ladder” (1929). This is the experience of a dogmatic interpretation of certain features in the Orthodox veneration of the Mother of God, the Forerunner, and a theological interpretation of the doctrine of Angels. Also in this publication for the first time records of Fr. Sergius Bulgakov from a notebook of 1939–1942.
