The book is dedicated to the description of the Six Yogas of Naropa, the famous tantric practices of Buddhism. Naropa, a prominent Indian master of the 11th century, played an extremely important role in the history of Tibetan Buddhism. He made a decisive contribution to the spread of numerous tantras - most notably the traditions of Kalachakra, Guhyasamaja, Hevajra and Chakrasamvara, as well as to the development of a special cycle of completion stage practices known as the Six Yogas. This edition includes six of the most famous texts on the Six Yogas of Naropa, including Naropa himself, his teacher Tilopa and Tsongkhapa the Great. The texts were translated by a modern specialist in the literature of Buddhist Tantra, Glenn Mullin, who lived in the Himalayas for more than twelve years in constant spiritual communication with Tibetan teachers
