Роман "Смарагдове море" від Джона Рінго - це захоплююча подорож у майбутнє, де технології, що колись забезпечували комфорт і благоденство, тепер стали причинами катастрофи. Автор майстерно створює атмосферу постапокаліптичного світу, де залишки людства намагаються знайти своє місце в нових умовах. Персонажі, зокрема іхтіани, які стали жертвами власних амбіцій, викликають співчуття та цікавість. Рінго вдало поєднує елементи наукової фантастики з глибокими філософськими роздумами про владу, технології та людську природу. Хоча переклад тексту іноді має незначні недоліки, загальна якість написання та сюжетна лінія компенсують це. Рекомендую цю книгу всім, хто любить фантастику з глибоким змістом і незабутніми персонажами!
