Five years have passed since the day when the fog sent to Ethera by an evil force cleared. The captive Desh-Tir is kept in a magically sealed stone vessel. But the enmity of the two brothers, Ariton and Lizaer, does not subside. Prince Ariton of Falen prefers to hide: he wanders around Ethera under the name of Medlir, a student of the famous minstrel Master Khaliron. Lizaer of Ilessid wants to restore the city of Avenor, the ancient capital of Taisan. At the same time, he gathers an army to oppose his brother. The magicians of the Commonwealth of the Seven are trying to unravel the secret of Desh-Tir and “pull out the poisonous thorn” from the souls of the brothers so that the princes achieve reconciliation. This is extremely important for magicians, because, according to the prophecy, if Ariton does not become the ruler of the kingdom of Ratan, the ancient race of Paravians will not return to Ethera, and the magicians will not be able to reunite with their missing brothers. Meanwhile, Ariton deliberately awakens the curse of Desh-Tir, and now the ancient evil once again looms over both the brothers and the continent of Ethera.
