The second book of the trilogy. At the beginning of the 20th century, a wave of unmotivated brutal murders swept through the eastern states of the United States. An unknown criminal entered houses at night and, using an ax, killed all the residents. These crimes are now being linked to a serial killer who remains unexposed. The author, analyzing well-known crimes, tries, on the basis of modern criminological concepts, to understand whether they were really committed by one person, and if so, what motivated him.

Книга "Усі гріхи світу" є другим томом трилогії, який занурює читача в темний і загадковий світ серійних вбивств на початку XX століття. Автор майстерно поєднує документальність з художнім викладом, що дозволяє не лише зануритися в атмосферу того часу, але й глибше зрозуміти психологію злочинця. Вражає, як детально автор аналізує відомі злочини, ставлячи під сумнів традиційні уявлення про серійних вбивць. Книга спонукає до роздумів про природу зла і те, що може штовхати людину на такі жахливі вчинки. Хоча переклад тексту деякими місцями має недоліки, це не зменшує загального враження від читання. Я б рекомендував цю книгу всім, хто цікавиться кримінологією, історією та психологією, адже вона відкриває нові горизонти розуміння людської природи.
