As fate would have it, criminal investigation officers Valery Shtukin and Yegor Yakushev become not just strangers to each other - they become enemies. And this despite the fact that they have many common acquaintances and friends, and their views on life do not differ so much. But it just so happened: the leadership of the criminal investigation department introduces one into the structure of the former crime boss Yungerov, and the other, on the contrary, is sent by the mafia to serve in the police. And another insurmountable obstacle between the two officers is the death of an employee of the prosecutor’s office, with whom each of them had more than just an official relationship... The outcome of such a conflict situation cannot but be tragic...
