The Pines Creek Indian Reservation is a closed and remote area from civilization, in the forests of which the local sheriff is unsuccessfully trying to find a young man and his companion who have disappeared without a trace. However, the investigation is hampered not only by the mysterious circumstances of the disappearance, but also by the residents of a nearby town - they are firmly convinced that the Indians, with whom the townspeople have long been brewing a conflict, are to blame for everything. Private detective Eli Hunter undertakes to help the sheriff and arrives in the town along with his assistant to begin his own investigation. But Hunter’s assistant is also an Indian, and it seems that the town is not at all happy about this.
