Напруженість та динаміка подій тримають у напрузі до останньої сторінки. Особливо вражає опис таранних ударів і морських маневрів, які змушують відчути себе частиною цієї грандіозної битви. Незважаючи на деякі недоліки в перекладі, які незначно впливають на загальне враження, книга залишає по собі глибокий слід.
