Once upon a time, I became acquainted with the work of the great ancient poet Omar Khayyam and fell in love with his rubai. Then I became acquainted with the work of the modern writer and poet Oleg Ladyzhensky, and he had his own rubai, which he called “khayyamki” in honor of the great poet. I also wanted to write rubai, but the “khayyamki” was already taken, and I’m still writing my “k...omar...iki”. And for ease of writing and reading, I divide them into flocks of four. Four stanzas of four lines, the average size of an average verse. And now I’m glad to introduce you to my flocks of lobsters.
