The first historical novel in the series “The Fate of the Bryansk Principality.” The book tells about the events of the history of Rus' of the 13th century related to the founding and formation of the Bryansk principality, about the life and work of the outstanding commander and statesman Prince Roman Mikhailovich Bryansk (1225–1290), his relationships with other Russian princes, the Golden Horde khans and Lithuania. The author also describes other Russian principalities, the life of the people of that era, lifting the curtain on many secrets of history and the personal lives of his heroes.
