The third historical novel in the series “The Fate of the Bryansk Principality” tells about the events of the history of Rus' in the 14th century. In the center is the Bryansk Principality, headed by princes Roman Glebovich (1314–1322) and his son Dmitry the Beautiful (1322–1352), who received his nickname among the people for his extraordinary beauty of face and abundance of love. The Bryansk principality at that time was one of the most powerful in Rus'. Both the Horde khans and Lithuania took the Bryansk princes into account. However, the Moscow princes, who claimed to unite Rus' under their rule, hated Bryansk and did everything to destroy their political rival. But until his death, Prince Dmitry Bryansky retains his independence, despite enormous difficulties, internal turmoil and personal life losses.
