The main character is Alexey Streltsov, nicknamed Lex, a participant in an experiment prohibited by official science. He is a force - an exemplary “average” person, nevertheless, trained to go far beyond the usual human capabilities. Lex does not yet know that his long preparation is part of a carefully prepared experiment. That his main task is to go into the depths of the “black hole”, to the “point of singularity”, where time froze forever at the moment of the death of a mysterious civilization.

Вражаюча подорож у невідоме!
Книга "Чудовість" стала для мене справжнім відкриттям у світі наукової фантастики. Головний герой, Олексій Стрєльцов, або Лекс, виявився дуже цікавим персонажем, який, незважаючи на свою «середньостатистичність», демонструє неймовірну силу волі та рішучість. Експеримент, у якому він бере участь, відкриває двері до нових можливостей і ставить перед ним складні моральні питання. Сюжет книги захоплює з перших сторінок, а опис експедиції в «чорну діру» та пошуки відповідей на питання про загибель цивілізацій тримають у напрузі до самого кінця. Хоча переклад тексту має деякі недоліки, загальна якість написання та ідеї, закладені в роман, вражають. Це не просто книга про космос, а філософська розповідь про людство, його місце у Всесвіті та виклики, з якими ми можемо зіткнутися. Рекомендую всім, хто любить глибокі та захоплюючі історії!
