In the novel “Victims,” Frank Miller, who worked for many years as a special effects specialist on the set of horror films, became convinced from his own experience of the truth of this statement. By an absurd accident, having lost his sight, he regains it when the criminal's eyes are transplanted into him, and one day he discovers that he is able to recognize the killer's potential victims.
