The village of Weikley was a small and quite ordinary farming community, and yet strange, completely incomprehensible, and at times truly terrible things happened there. Something was wrong with both the residents of the village and their livestock - something so vile that it is difficult to even find words to describe what was happening. The culprit for everything was the chemical company Vanderburg, whose main task was to protect its own interests and keep the content of its work secret - regardless of what it could turn out to be for the residents of Weikley, and possibly for all of humanity. But who really could seriously imagine that ordinary beef would become deadly for people in the novel “Erebus”?..
