Claude Farrer (pseudonym, nast, name Frédéric Charles Edouard Bargon, 1876–1957) is one of the most interesting European writers of the 20th century, in Europe he is called the “French Kipling”. The first volume of his Works includes the novels “In the Dreams of Opium”, “Dear Allies”, “House of the Forever Living”, “The Man Who Killed”.

Перший том творів Клода Фаррера - це справжня перлина, яка дозволяє зануритися в світ його унікального стилю та ідей. Романи, що увійшли до збірки, демонструють глибину думок автора, його здатність передати емоції та створити яскраві образи. "У мріях опіуму" вражає своєю поетичністю, а "Людина, яка вбила" захоплює інтригуючим сюжетом і психологічною напругою. Хоча переклад, виконаний за допомогою штучного інтелекту, іноді має недоліки, це не зменшує загального враження від читання. Фаррер дійсно заслуговує на увагу, і я рекомендую цю книгу всім, хто хоче насолодитися якісною літературою та дослідити творчість одного з найцікавіших письменників XX століття.
