Михайло Родін, головний герой, є дуже цікавим персонажем, який, відслуживши в армії, стикається з новими викликами в цивільному житті. Його знайомство з Мариною та подальші події на складі розкривають не лише його бойові інстинкти, але й глибокі моральні дилеми. Читачеві цікаво спостерігати, як Михайло трансформується з охоронця в справжнього бійця, готового боротися за справедливість.
