The book was written by a team of authors - members of the Rodnik club of gardeners and gardeners at the House of Scientists of the Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences. The authors share their wealth of experience in growing vegetables, both traditional for our Siberian gardens, and less common, but already occupying a prominent place in the gardens of enthusiastic vegetable growers. Popular spicy-flavoring plants are described in detail. The entire cycle of cultivating vegetable crops is considered sequentially: pre-sowing treatment, growing seedlings, caring for plants in film greenhouses and in open ground, methods of combating diseases and pests, methods of obtaining seeds. Recommendations for growing vegetables are given in two versions: simplified (“lazy”) - for those who do not have the ability to perform all the necessary agricultural techniques, and full (intensive) - for those who can implement these techniques. The result of the first option is a harvest, the second is a guaranteed high yield of vegetables. Considerable attention is paid to the issues of harvest storage and winter preparations of vegetables. For amateur vegetable growers, farmers and a wide range of readers.
