Книга "Історія Візантійської імперії" А. А. Васильєва є справжнім досягненням в історичній науці, що відкриває читачеві нові горизонти розуміння цієї великої імперії. Другий том, який охоплює період від початку хрестових походів до падіння Константинополя, є не лише всебічним оглядом історичних подій, але й глибоким аналізом зовнішньої та внутрішньої політики Візантії. Автор вміло поєднує факти з різних джерел, що дозволяє читачеві отримати цілісну картину епохи. Хоча в тексті можуть бути деякі недоліки в перекладі, загалом, це не заважає сприйняттю інформації. Книга стане безцінним джерелом для студентів, істориків та всіх, хто цікавиться історією Візантійської імперії. Рекомендую всім, хто хоче глибше зануритися в цю захоплюючу тему!
