Immortality, which is discussed in the third book about Perry Rodan, has long been exciting the thoughts and feelings of people and therefore is, apparently, one of the main themes of works of science fiction. Perry Rodan, the hero of the novel, has long since achieved immortality in a double sense: as a character in the events of the novel and as a phenomenon in the literature of science fiction, without which it has been impossible to imagine for more than twenty years.
