The main character is terminally ill. So that his family does not see his dying suffering, he goes to a rented apartment, where he begins to hear the singing of a non-existent woman. After studying the archives, he learns that a singer lived in this apartment seventy years ago. Now he not only hears her, but also sees her. But this is not enough. His body is dying and he wants to see the singer's world before he dies. The room changes, as if the world is transporting him back in time. He walks out the door and finds himself in the thirties of the twentieth century, where the disease recedes and, until he returns back, he can live. But the singer needs help, she needs answers, which can only be obtained in the future - the present of the main character, where a fatal illness awaits him...
